My Story

I never planned to build a cabin. I'm a graphic designer by trade – I push pixels, not lumber. But like many of you, I dreamed of escaping the noise, having a place that's truly mine, off the grid and away from it all.

In 2020, I bought a small piece of land in Romania for under €5,000. No electricity. No water connection. No road access. Everyone thought I was crazy.

With zero construction experience, I started building. I watched hundreds of YouTube videos. I made mistakes – some expensive, some just embarrassing (ask me about my wooden gate disaster). But piece by piece, I built a 27m² cabin that I now call home.

Why I Wrote This Book

During my build, I documented everything on my YouTube channel Frozzy Tales. But videos can only show so much. People kept asking me detailed questions:

• How did you actually find cheap land?
• What's the real cost breakdown?
• Can you show me exactly how you did the solar setup?

This eBook is my answer. It's everything I wish I had when I started – the complete, unfiltered guide with real photos, actual costs, and honest lessons from my mistakes.

What Makes This Different

I'm not a contractor trying to sell you expensive services. I'm not a homesteading influencer with a team behind me. I'm just a regular guy who figured it out step by step.

This book is written in plain language, for regular people. If I can do it, you can too.
